The Social Media Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing VENA brand through the development, execution, and management of social media strategies. This position requires a content-savvy individual who can understand target audiences, create compelling content, and drive meaningful engagement across multiple social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan, and implement social media strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Create, edit, and curate engaging content (text, images, videos) for all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
  • Schedule and publish posts across platforms, optimizing timing and content based on engagement metrics.
  • Monitor social media performance, analyze metrics, and provide actionable insights to improve content strategy and engagement.
  • Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and manage conversations on behalf of the brand, fostering a positive community and encouraging interaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to create visual content that supports campaigns and reinforces brand voice.
  • Stay current with social media trends, emerging platforms, and competitor activity to ensure our brand remains at the forefront of digital engagement.
  • Plan and execute paid social media campaigns, including budget management, audience targeting, and performance tracking.
  • Identify and work with influencers and brand advocates to expand our reach and engagement.
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis and audience research to refine strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation.
  • Proven track record of growing social media audiences, increasing engagement, and generating conversions.
  • Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools, such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer.
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices across all major platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft messages that align with brand voice.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and a basic understanding of design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop).
  • Ability to analyze data and interpret social media metrics to optimize content and campaigns.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with paid social advertising, campaign management, and audience targeting.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and how social media integrates with broader digital marketing efforts.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and experience managing influencer partnerships.
  • Basic video editing skills for social media content.
